Aim of the day:

In the second of our Tevi Challenge Networks on the topic of protecting the marine environment we’ll be exploring the benefits of low impact moorings. These moorings minimise the interaction with the seabed but are yet to be used in Cornwall. Tevi would like to support an enterprise to establish a pilot scheme to monitor the benefits and potential drawbacks of these moorings.

The 2nd half of the day will be a workshop lead by Cornwall Wildlife Trust on Pacific Oysters, exploring how this invasive species can be re imagined as a valuable commodity for multiple industries.

Who is this event for:

Harbours, sailing clubs, boat maintenance companies, marine conservation groups, oyster merchants, chefs and restaurant owners.
