Tevi has been working over the last year to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in many sectors across Cornwall through the adoption of Circular Economic approaches.

Food and the Circular Economy – South West is an EPSRC-funded research project. Since November 2016 the project has been exploring the challenges and opportunities for SMEs in the food and beverages manufacturing industry in their transition towards a Circular Economy. An interdisciplinary team of business experts, social scientists, engineers and systems modellers, led by the University of Exeter Business School have been working with businesses across the South West of England, including: Quicke’s Cheese, Proper Cornish, Roskilly’s, Billy Ruffian’s Brewery, Summerskills Brewery and Bailey’s Country Store. Find out more about the project here.
