Understanding Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) – University of Exeter (Cornwall)

October 4, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

Is there an innovation project you’d love to do in your business? Perhaps you’d like to develop a new product or service or change the way you are doing things. If so now might be the time to think about a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). Never heard of it? This event will let tell you everything you need to know about them, and how it could help your business to grow.

KTPs are a three-way partnership between a business, an academic or research organisation and a graduate. A KTP allows businesses to bring in new skills and also tap into the latest academic thinking to deliver a specific strategic project.

If you’ve got an idea, this event will help to identify whether it is appropriate for the scheme and help you take it forward. You’ll hear from the regional KTP adviser (Andy Treen), the University of Exeter’s KTP Team and first hand from businesses, academics and graduates that have experienced the scheme themselves.
