Regenerating and rewilding privately owned land across CIoS
March 17, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Aim of the day:
Bringing nature back to life, locking away carbon and restoring living systems are all examples of rewilding. Rewilding can happen on a big scale, such as at Knepp in Sussex, but it can also happen on a much smaller scale, such as around campsite pitches, along field boundaries and beside visitor attractions.
With tourism bringing £1.85 billion into the Cornish economy annually (13% of Cornwall’s GVA), as well as providing 1 in 5 jobs, it’s essential that businesses linked to this industry lead the way when it comes to sustainability, especially when it comes to protecting and growing our natural environment.
This event will give you the inspiration, information and contacts needed to make a start on improving the land you have for nature, with the twinned benefits of increased revenue as well as environmental growth.
