Innovative environmental growth along the South West Coast Path in Cornwall

Cornwall’s Environmental Growth Strategy 2015-2065 suggests that the county’s economy relies on a healthy, thriving natural environment. In this context, the South West Coast Path in provides a fascinating case study around the relationship between Cornwall’s environment, economy and communities.
Coordinated by Tevi, this workshop will cover opportunities and challenges of managing the South West Coast Path in Cornwall. It will also showcase potential innovative business opportunities around the Path, taking into account its critical importance within the Cornish landscape and the county’s treasured heritage.

11:15 – Practical approaches to environmental growth along the South West Coast Path: presentations by Visit Cornwall, Porthcurno Telegraph Museum and Glisten
12:00– Interactive breakout sessions led by AONB, Tevi, Visit Cornwall and communications industry representatives
13:00– Lunch and networking at Porthcurno Beach Café
14:00– Close
14:15– Guided tour of Porthcurno Telegraph Museum (optional, free of charge)
