Cornwall’s Climate Stories: Plenty More Fish – Film discussion with Q&A

July 28 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Episode two of Cornwall’s Climate Stories looks at how Cornwall’s fishing industry is being affected by climate change.

Cornwall’s Climate Stories is a series of documentaries highlighting the impacts of climate change already being felt across our county, as well as the fantastic local businesses, researchers and community groups working hard to prepare us for the challenges coming our way.

Climate change is going to impact us in Cornwall in ways beyond just extreme weather and sea level rise. This second film looks at Cornwall’s fishing industry and how it might need to adapt in the future.

We will send you a link to watch the 30 minute film in advance of the panel discussion.

The panel will include:

  • Professor Steffen Boehm – University of Exeter
  • Claire Wallerstein – Producer
  • Matt Slater – Cornwall Wildlife Trust

Participants will be able to ask questions during the Q&A, and can submit question in advance by email to [email protected]
